Join us on February 28, 2020 at The Idea Center in Miami Dade College for Grow with Google to learn digital skills, prepare for jobs and grow your business.
At this FREE workshop, we focus on small businesses, as well as jobseekers. There will be a session for each to help you in being successful and get the most out of your job.
This workshop will be divided in two sessions;
1. Focused on Small Businesses
A. 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Reach Customers Online with Google
In this first session you are going to learn how to promote your business using Search Engine Optimization and Smart Campaigns in Google Ads.
Here, you will learn how to create or know how to claim your business profile on Know Google Manage Your Business and in Google Searches and Maps and how to get Google My Business to connect with many potential customers, as well as create a free website using information in your business profile.
B. 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Use Data to Drive Business Growth
In this session, you will learn to know the best practices and analysis of trends on how customers interact with your online business, then turn this knowledge into something positive for you and your business.
You will learn to identify business objectives and how to plan to use your online presence to achieve them.
You will also learn what tools to use to help you find the answers you need and how to incorporate that data into your marketing plan.
2. 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Jobseekers
This sessions is for training in digital skills for daily tasks.
You will learn to manage your work and life tasks more easily with Google’s tools.
We will teach you how to create a budget, a meeting agenda and to organize your priorities. With these safe practices you will increase your productivity.
You will also learn how to use the templates in Google Sheets to create a custom task list and how to create a meeting agenda with the Google Docs template.
